Some of Botswana’s Top Destinations you Should Know about
Below are our GPS Coordinates and directions to assist with navigation, should the clients opt to self-drive:

We also have signage on the road to the camp (The Mababe Route), and it is very easy to find. There are 2 routes: the quicker route via Mababe or the slightly longer route through the Moremi Reserve. Leaving Maun Airport, take the airport road and then turn left onto Sir Seretse Khama Rd. Keep heading north through town, where the road curves east and crosses the Thamalakane River. You will come to a traffic circle, take the first exit. From the traffic circle, when heading North, it’s 25km to Shorobe, the road turns into a gravel road at the end of town. From the start of the gravel road, continue 19km to Mawana Buffalo Fence (a veterinary checkpoint). 2km past the gate, you will find a fork in the road, and now you need to decide which of the 2 routes you want to follow.
Mababe Route: this is a longer (92km) but faster (3 hours) drive with no park fees. Take the road for 26km to Sankuyo. Continue straight through Sankoyo and drive for another 32km, and you will pass through Mababe. Shortly before Mababe, you will find a WATER DETOUR sign where you need to turn off to the right and follow a short detour around a permanently flooded section of road. Once through Mababe, you crossover a permanent metal structure bridge and keep to the left along the main gravel road. From the bridge, you will find a turn off to SAVUTI/LINYATI (to the right) after 3km, but you continue straight. After 29km on the main gravel road you will cross over a concrete bridge. Continue down the main gravel road for approximately 1.2km until you reach clearing and a sign that notifies ‘’KHWAI’’. From there you will also find our camp sign directing you to turn left. The roads are sign posted for ease. In about 500m you would have reached camp.
Moremi Route: this is a shorter (65km) but longer (3-4hrs) drive with park fees. Take thread that forks to the left (Out Gate Moremi). Continue on this road for 36km to the South Gate Park entrance. At South Gate you will be required to pay day entry fees. Immediately once through the gate, take the NORTH GATE sign posted road to the right. After 30km you will find North Gate. After signing out, cross a wooden bridge and continue on the main gravel road for 3km where you will find a fork in the road. Take the road to the right and after another 500m you will find our sign to direct you to camp.
